MetagamingMaintaining fairness, respect, and immersion ensures a high-quality experience for all players. Violations of these standards will be addressed promptly by administration.
Metagaming is defined as using out of character information in character. Metagaming can also be classified as having someone's stream pulled up, being in a discord call, or plotting out of character. Inciting someone else to metagame is against this rule.
John Doe reads something from out of character chat and roleplays knowing that in-character.
Jane Smith reads something from twitch chat and roleplays knowing that in-character.
Power gamingUsing out of game communications like Discord, Skype, etc. to communicate in character while in-game is forbidden.
Examples of Power gamingDefinition: Power gaming is the act of forcing unrealistic outcomes in roleplay or using in-game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage. This includes performing actions that would be impossible for a human character, dictating outcomes for other players without giving them a fair chance to respond, or fabricating events to benefit oneself.
Talking, organizing, or calling out locations while incapacitated or downed.
Exploiting game mechanics to maximize income without engaging in proper roleplay.
Failing to use /me and /do commands to support immersive roleplay scenarios.
Driving at unrealistic speeds repeatedly without a valid in-character reason.
Intentionally causing death or damage by exploiting health mechanics rather than roleplaying realistically.
Deathmatching (DM)Power gaming disrupts immersion and undermines fair play. Players must prioritize realistic, human-like roleplay and ensure all actions provide a fair opportunity for others to respond.
